Nimet A. Adam, AuD, CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Nimet A. Adam is a Board Certified Clinical Audiologist and President of Hearing Partners of South Florida, Inc. Dr. Adam has over 20 years of experience in the industry. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and trained at Shands Medical Center. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA).
She has worked as an Industrial Audiologist and in clinical and administrative positions at a South Florida Rehabilitation Hospital. She has lectured extensively and is a consultant for various organizations and manufacturers. Dr. Adam is on the Board of Directors for the Entheos Cooperative, an Audiology based co-op that provides hearing healthcare services worldwide.
Her practice specializes in audiology diagnostics, management of hearing loss, tinnitus, vestibular (balance) diagnostics as well as implantable technology. Dr. Adam is dedicated to the health and wellness of the community. She was an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and is a preceptor for doctoral students from various universities. Dr. Adam is on the Council for Accreditation of Audiology Programs in the United States and participates in local and global humanitarian projects. She has lived in Florida since 1980 and resides with her husband and daughter. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading.
Meredith Resnick, M.A., CCC-A
Meredith is a Clinical Audiologist licensed in the State of Florida. She completed her Bachelors degree from The University of Wisconsin – Madison and received her Masters degree from Northwestern University. She has earned her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Meredith has over 20 years experience. She worked in a hospital setting, an Ear, Nose and Throat practice and in a private practice setting. She specializes in diagnostic, rehabilitative Audiology and hearing devices. She attends educational seminars to maintain her expertise in Audiology and keeps current with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology. Meredith is dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal hearing from amplification treating each patient with compassion. Meredith is also involved in local as well as global humanitarian work.
Meredith resides with her husband, two teenagers and three dogs. She enjoys walking, knitting, and spending time with family and friends.
Arthur Zinaman, Au.D, CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Zinaman holds graduate degrees from A.T. Still University, Ithaca College and the State University of New York at Cortland. He is currently licensed as an audiologist in both Florida and New York states. He is experienced in the latest hearing aid technology, assistive listening devices and is proficient in advanced testing techniques, inter-operative monitoring, aural rehabilitation, cochlear implant mapping, hearing science and medical audiology.
Dr. Zinaman also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech & Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He remains dedicated to providing the best in hearing healthcare to all his patients.
Dr. Zinaman enjoys gardening, competition target shooting, antique restoration; especially wall and mantel clocks, and is a 1960/70’s muscle car enthusiast!
Dr. Matthew Seldine, Au.D, F-AAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Matthew Seldine, Au.D. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida in Gainesville and earned his Doctorate in Audiology from the University of South Florida. He has clinical and counseling experience. He has worked in an Ear, Nose and Throat practice, and a Hearing and Balance clinic. He specializes in audiometric and vestibular (balance) diagnostics, hearing instrument technology, and hearing protection and conservation. Dr. Seldine will be seeing patients in our Delray Beach office. Matthew is a native of Southeast Florida. He was a volunteer for the Special Olympics, is an avid drummer and loves basketball, bowling, and travel.
Phoebe Clouser, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Phoebe Clouser graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University in December of 2012 with her Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology. Dr. Clouser specializes in audiometric diagnostics, hearing device technology, aural rehabilitation, pediatric audiology as well as implantable technology. She participates in an global humanitarian work and plans to continue this mission for better hearing around the world. Her other interests include traveling, music and spending time in the outdoors. Michelle Looney, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Michelle Looney graduated from the University of Central Florida in December of 2014 with her Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Looney specializes in audiometric diagnostics, hearing device technology, and aural rehabilitation. She is very passionate about treating those with implantable devices, specifically those with cochlear implants. It has always been a dream of hers to work in her hometown, Jupiter. She is so excited to help those in her community by sharing in their hearing journey. Some of her other interests include baking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.
Abby Lou Zimmerman, M.A., CCC-A
Abby Lou Zimmerman is a clinical audiologist with over 30 years experienced and she received her graduate degree from Hofstra University in New York. Her background has included giving in-services and educational lectures to ENT residents and nursing students, and she has conducted and published research articles in The Journal of Gerontological Nursing. She specializes in cutting edge hearing aid technology, vestibular testing, and rehabilitative audiology. She works with pediatrics, adults, and special needs populations.
Abby lives with her husband and has two children and two mini dachshunds. She enjoys traveling and in her free time she is very engaged in advocacy and has had the privilege of meeting with legislators in D.C. and lobbying on Capitol Hill for mental health parity.
Tricia Schustrin, BA, AA
Certified Audiology Assistant
Tricia graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Human Ecology at Montclair State University in NJ. She has worked in the audiology field for 20 years, assisting in audiological evaluations and vestibular testing. She started out her career in NJ and has found herself in Florida to be closer to family for the past 4 years. She is certified with American Academy of Otolaryngology, Certificate Program for Otolaryngology Personnel (CPOP) and in the State of Florida Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Audiology Assistant License.
Front Office Specialist
Elisa is originally from Cuenca Ecuador. Elisa graduated from UDA’s College of Business with a Business Administration Degree. She is bilingual Spanish and English. Her primarily focus is client service. Elisa decided to reside in south Florida for a couple of reasons; its diverse cultural and travel was easy to her native Ecuador to visit family.
Elisa loves cultural diversity, trying food from different countries, dancing, outdoor activities and travel. “Having my daughter has taught me the real meaning of unconditional love”.
Front Office Specialist
Merle has been a south Florida resident for over 20 years recently moving to east Delray to be closer to the beach. Merle has a BA in Psychology and has a National Certification in Activities Directing. She enjoys working with people. She loves spending time with her family and pets.
Wendy has been a part of the Hearing Partners of South Florida team for over 2 years. Wendy handles insurance billing and check out. She loves animals and is originally from New York.
Aggie Is the Office Manager of Hearing Partners of South Florida.
Aggie is a Boynton Beach resident. She is an animal advocate as well as community volunteer. Her hobbies include gourmet cooking, interior design, travel, foreign language, white water rafting, kayaking as well as a multitude of outdoor sports. She served with a Combat Support Hospital in the United States Army. Aggie is also involved with local as well as global humanitarian work spreading the gift of hearing.
